Chicken Dance
Sugar Creek once again braces itself for the Slavic Festival – the yearly invasion of a mysterious and faraway culture that tempts festivalgoers with a rich heritage of music, food and dance. It’s the one place you can go where, “Pass me another Kielbasa” is not just accepted, it’s encouraged. But beware, it’s been said that some who attend are so entranced by the revelry that they can be seen doing the Chicken Dance long into the night. As those who’ve dared attend past Slavic Festivals can tell you, it’s a monster of a good time.
